#20: Are You Getting What You Deserve?

I made a pivot…I’m starting a newsletter. And all the tips, strategies and downloads I usually put into my blog will be right here in the newsletter.  Easier for you to access, easier for you to read. It’s all right here folks! And it will be in a blog post as well.

That way if you ever want to go back to read or reference something you read earlier, it will be easier for me to direct you back to the correct content.

I used to send out newsletters and I kinda miss it. So here we go…it will be a short read, but a great one!

As you may or may not know, one of the things I teach online is how to create a vision board that REALLY works to attract the goals you want. But the real key to getting (achieving) the things you want is having the mindset and feeling that you deserve having those things.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not talking about greed or being selfish. I’m just saying that having the belief that we deserve to have those things in life we desire is the first step in attracting them to you.

When we think of abundance and prosperity as things we deserve, a significant shift occurs – first in our thoughts, and then in our behavior. Our belief causes abundance!

How do you begin to change in order to attract more abundance into your life then? Your thoughts determine your beliefs which determine the actions you take.

Here are the THREE THINGS I want you to tuck into your mind and keep in there:

  1. Change your thoughts – Your thoughts are the conscious part of your mind. You have to think of yourself as the divine creation that you are in this perfect universe. You have complete and total value and as such your worth is endless.
  2. Change your beliefs – Your beliefs are the subconscious part of your mind. Your thoughts change your beliefs. So, by working on changing your thoughts you will start believing whatever thoughts you keep putting in there. Your subconscious mind doesn’t know the difference of what’s true or not. So, as you change your beliefs, you’ll see the limits you once felt dissolve.
  3. Change your actions – Your actions are your behaviors. As you begin to change your thoughts and beliefs you will start seeing opportunities to take action that you felt limited in previously.

This is true for all of us. Our belief in scarcity creates scarcity. The same rule holds true for abundance. We each decide what we attract in this world. As I look back, I see that all the choices I have made have moved me in the direction of having more control over my destiny. All it takes is a mind shift. That shift starts with changing the things you think about.

This week I also started sharing a social media post I call Mindset Moment where I share a quote or a great thought that I’ve heard. This week’s thought is “Celebrate Something Every Day” and I think this is a fun habit we can start today! There is always something we can celebrate and be grateful for, no matter how small.
